Along the scenic Chilliwack River, our campground provides an ideal backdrop for fishing, kayaking, and hiking adventures. Moreover, visitors can enjoy a variety of tent and RV sites with essential amenities while experiencing the rustic charm of the outdoors.

As a result of our prime location, you can easily cast a line in the river or explore nearby trails. Additionally, Tamihi West features a convenient staging area for your off-road equipment, located less than 500M from your campsite. Therefore, this makes our campground the perfect gateway to nature’s tranquillity. Finally, come and unwind in the heart of British Columbia’s wilderness.

 

Reservation fees are non refundable and non transferable.

First Come, First Serve Sites are cash only. We DO NOT have Debit or Credit onsite.

Description

Please Note:
We will only be charging you the Reservation Fee at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in cash when you arrive.
At this time, there is no option to prepay for your full stay before arrival.

We believe this is the best approach, as it provides flexibility for you. If you book for a long weekend and do not show up, we will retain only the reservation fee.

  • Campsite Types: The campground features a mix of tent and RV sites, some of which are riverside, offering scenic views and easy access to the Chilliwack River.
  • Facilities: While the campground maintains a rustic charm, it provides essential amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets. Visitors should bring their own water and power.
  • Accessibility: The campground is accessible via a well-maintained road, suitable for most vehicles.
  • Firewood: We have a wheelbarrow of firewood onsite for $20, payable in cash.

  • Safety Tips: Campers should be prepared for changing weather conditions and practice Leave No Trace principles to preserve the natural environment.
  • Driving Directions: Follow the Trans-Canada Hwy (Hwy 1) East from Vancouver and take Exit 119 onto Vedder Road. Turn left at Chilliwack Lake Road and drive 12 km. The entrance to Tamihi Creek (East) is just off the intersection of Chilliwack Lake Road and the Liumchen Creek FSR. The entrance to Tamihi Creek (West) is approximately 0.3 km past this junction, and the Tamihi Creek Staging Area is another 0.2 km past this entrance to the left.
