Reservation Fee Charges

Camping permit fees vary by individual recreation sites. For Tamihi West. Camping fees cover parking for one vehicle per campsite. If you have additional vehicles, fees can be prepaid when making a reservation, subject to space availability.

You are allowed to make only one reservation under a single name and cannot reserve multiple sites. Each reservation incurs a reservation charge in addition to campsite permit fees and any other applicable fees.

Reservations fee are refundable as long as you is cancel 15 days prior to arrival.

Reservation Fees are as follows

  • Single Site $17
  • Double Site $25
  • Triple Site $30

Discounts and Payment

The Seniors Discount and the Social Services Camping Fee Exemption may apply to camping permit fees but do not extend to reservation charges. This is for only the First Come First Serve Campsites, and can only be done onsite with cash.

Reservation Holder Responsibilities

A reservation holder cannot pay for another camping party if it results in exceeding the 14-day stay limit at the associated campsite. Reservation charges are non-refundable.

Reservation Rules

  • Full pre-payment of all permit fees and reservation charges is required to secure your reservation.
  • Reservation holders must be at least 19 years old and are responsible for the actions of all party members.
  • Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance of your arrival date.
  • You can book your entire stay at once, up to 14 nights. For example, a 3-day reservation starting on July 25 can be made as early as June 25.
  • Reservations must be made at least 3 days before your arrival date where reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.
  • Changes to reservations are not accepted once payment is made. To modify a reservation, you must cancel and re-book.
  • Reservations are non-transferable. The reservation holder’s name must be provided at booking and cannot be changed later. Transferring or selling reservations may result in cancellation without a refund.
  • The reservation holder must be present at check-in and during the stay. Identification may be required to validate the reservation.
  • Arriving with more people or vehicles than stated in your reservation may incur additional fees or result in unavailability of accommodation.
  • Reservations are made by and for the named camping party and vehicle. Vehicle can change but not named party.
  • Reservations can be made for someone else and paid for by the same card but the sites must be in an individuals name and different vehicle plate.
  • reservation holder must/may be asked to confirm on check in day. This recognizes that the someone makes a reservation but may be arriving a bit later then the person who made the reservation. (for example: Jonh Doe makes reservation and is on route, but jane doe arrives with the kids and different car ahead of John because the he got off work later or he got a flat on way…)
